This version requires 32-bit JRE version that is >= 1.6. History | May 11, 2011 Legacy Version WinTRiLOGI 3.54 This previous release of WinTRiLOGI was designed to automatically invoke the Java JRE 1.4.2_19 to run the WinTRiLOGI program. To run this version please follow the link below to download and install JRE 1.4.2_19 before proceeding. Also note that you can install JRE 1.4.2_19 even there is already a newer version of JRE on your PC. It will not overwrite the default settings assigned to the newer version. i-TRiLOGI will use JRE 1.4.2_19 even if there are other JRE present. Please install the JRE BEFORE installing the WinTRiLOGI. 1 ) Download and Install JRE 1.4.2_19 Please Install JRE 1.4.2 to the default
folder 2) Right click here: SetupWTL354.exe to save the program into a temporary directory. 3) Run the "SetupWTL354.exe" to install the software to the existing TRiLOGI directory. Sep 28, 2008 Some users of Windows Vista complained of compatibility problem that resulted in the frequent breakdown of the serial communication when previous WinTRiLOGI version runs on Windows VISTA. This release of Version 3.53 fixes this Vista problem. This release also inform you of the reason if WinTRiLOGI could not start due to missing serial driver (often happen when Java JRE is upgraded).
Mar 30, 2005 The release fixes a number of new problem reported when users install the newer version of Java Runtime Environment JRE 1.4.2. These JRE related issues was not a problem when running JRE 1.3.1. However, since many new Windows XP are now shipped with JRE 1.4.2 we can no longer recommend installing JRE 1.3.1 as this usually result in a conflict when it overwrites registry of a PC pre-installed with JRE 1.4.2. In addition, SUN has started the EOL (End-of-line) for JRE 1.3.1 so most users are encouraged to upgrade to JRE 1.4.2. In this release we have taken the step to fix these JRE 1.4.2 related problem. There are also some minor bug fixes to the ladder logic editor software. Some new features such as "Write Compiled Code to Disk" and some enhancement has been made to make the program easier to use. Enhancement and New Features 1) If during ladder logic creation you picked an I/O without label name from the I/O table, the program will now prompt you to enter a label name, it will then update it on the I/O table and use it immediately (In previous version you must define the label name before they can be used). 2) Positioning of cursor at the junction of two parallel branches can now be achieved by clicking at the right end of the contact before the junction. JRE 1.4.2 Related Problems 1) Reloading of a ladder logic program that contain multi-lines "Comment" circuit from the harddisk resulted in a number of invalid circuits. This is due to JRE 1.4.2 default treatment of newline characters being different from JRE 1.3.1. This has been fixed and now multi-line "Comment" circuits can be saved and loaded properly. (The problem does not occur when you try to load a program created by TRiLOGI that runs under JRE 1.3.1, such as those in the samples folder) 2) <TAB> key can no longer be used to change the insertion point on the ladder logic "contact". As such, the <SHIFT> key is now added to take the place of <TAB> key for the same action (JRE 1.4.2 "hijacks" the <TAB> key and does not report it to the application program, although <TAB> key can still be used in text editor or for changing focus in the Window system). Other bug fixes 1) Resolved a problem that part of I/O or Comments circuit covered by Windows borders in some system. 2) Show the actual ID on the "On-monitoring" screen. Previously it shows only "01" even when the ID is not actually 01. 3) Picking of I/O label now work with keyboard immediately without having to use the mouse to focus it. 4) Corrected some kinky behavior during ladder circuit creation that sometime refuses the move the highlight bar to the contact or coil where the mouse click.
