At the moment we have a library file that supports Java programming. We haven't released a library for Visual Basic yet. But there are still many ways which Visual Basic program can communicate with the PLC.
a) There is published set of host link communication protocols which you can use to communication with the PLC by sending it ASCII command strings and receiving response strings from it. If you are familiar with the communication API it is quite simple to communicate with the PLC using Visual Basic.
b) The M-series PLC also support MODBUS protocol. You may be able to obtain some ready-made Visual Basic components that support the MODBUS protocol so that you don't have to write the communication code. Search the Internet for it.
c) An OPC (OLE for Process Control) Server is under development which when ready, will offer a standardized way for which Visual Basic program can communicate using its "automation interface".
: 1. Would I be able to interface with the TriLogi PLC via Visual basic?
: 2. Would the PLC be able to turn on and off 110V. Solenoid Valves.
